The Wildcard stage, which was introduced in M5, is retained for this year’s M series. However, the format of the Main Stage has shifted from previous round-robin formats to adopt a Swiss format. This allows teams with similar records to face each other for another round of competitive matchups and ensures that the strongest teams advance based on their overall performance.  

OWCS Finals

  • Dates: November 22 – 24, 2024

OWCS Finals concludes the inaugural season of the Overwatch Champions Series (OWCS). This event represents a new era for Overwatch eSports following the dissolution of the Overwatch League.

The OWCS Finals will showcase the top 8 teams from the OWCS regular season, competing for the Champions title and a share of the total prize pool of $500,000. All matches in the finals will follow a single elimination, best-of-five format.
